Together each morning, after the
Pledge of Allegiance, all students and teachers
recite the Kerrydale Pledge of Respect. It has taken
the place of a school song and has become our credo
across all grade levels. The underlying theme of
high expectations for all permeates this short poem
and starts our day with a positive attitude and
belief in what we can and will accomplish!
I am a smart, special, valuable person.
I respect myself and I respect others.
My words and actions are kind and honest.
I accept only my best in all I do.
I AM PROUD TO BE ME!
