Each year the PTA decides on a number of Fundraisers to hold in order to raise money to help defray the costs of student field trips, end of year P.E. Field Day events, contests and assist with buying additional learning equipment for the students benefit.

Giant, Safeway, Target………………………..
Many of the stores you and I already shop at will donate a portion of your sales to Kerrydale Elementary School. Some track purchases through discount cards, others through credit cards, and still others will donate portions of purchases made through their web sites. Please consider participating in some of the following programs and contribute to Kerrydale while you shop!

Giant A+ Bonus Bucks
A+ BONUSBUCKS are points that accrue with each purchase using the Giant Bonus Card. At the end of each month, the A+ BONUSBUCKS are used in a calculation to determine the school's cash total, which, then, is automatically credited to Kerrydale Elementary.

There is no extra cost to you for this program, but you must register your Bonus Card at the beginning of each school year. You can do so op-line by visiting http://www.giantfood.com/bonuscard_aplus.htm or visiting your local Giant grocery store.
Safeway Club for Education
Safeway will contribute up to 3% of qualifying purchases to Kerrydale Elementary.

There is no extra cost to you for this program, but you must register your Safeway Card at the beginning of each school year. Sign up online by visiting http://www.escrip.com.

Target Take Charge of Education
Target will donate an amount equal to 1% of Target Visa and Target Card purchases made a Target and Target.com, and 1/2% of Target Visa purchases made elsewhere, to Kerrydale Elementary. Some schools earn over $10,000 a year through this program.

Grocery Card Enrollment
Let PTA enroll your card and designate Kerrydale Elementary to receive money each time you shop at Giant or Safeway! Cards must be re-registered each fall for the coming school year.

When you purchase participating products with your Club Card from July 18th through September 4th, Safeway will donate 10% of the purchase price to the local school of your choice. Look for participating products marked with the yellow school bus tags throughout the store.
If you are enrolled in eScrip...
Your 10% contribution will automatically be donated to your registered eScrip school/group and your group’s account will be credited by December 31st, 2007.

If you are NOT enrolled in eScrip...
Check your register receipt for redemption details beginning September 5th. Your redemption code will be printed on your register receipt.
OR
Give your register receipt to your school before October 6th, so they can process your donation at www.backtoschools.escrip.com. It’s that easy!
Schools will need to register & process all register receipts at www.backtoschools.escrip.com no later than October 13th to receive their funds.

Staples Recycle for Education is easy. Just collect ink or laser toner cartridges and we'll take care of the rest: A collection box is located in front of the main doors just inside the school

QSP Readers Digest Fall Fundraiser – begins 9/7/07 must be turned in by 10/02/07

CiCi’s Pizza family nights have been scheduled for the following dates:

Lollipop Fridays….. Lollipops sold each week for .50cents each and delivered to the student each Friday during the school year. (See teacher for order form)

Chuck E Cheese family nights have been scheduled for the following dates:

Holiday Gift Shop - Students come do your holiday gift shopping at the school on Saturday December 15, 2007 from 9am-12 noon.

Joe Corbi Pizza & Cookie Dough Spring Fundraiser - begins 2/15/08 and ends on 3/5/2008. Please make sure all orders are turned in with payment no later than 3/5/08.

Mothers Day Flowers- students will be able to order red or pink carnations to give to their Mom’s for Mother’s Day 2008.  Orders will be placed 2 weeks in advance and students will be able to take them home the Friday before Mother’s Day.  The cost will be .75 cents each.
